unkown poet

A moments past,a dream that lasts,a little girl's return I light a candle in the night for only her it burns.A lightning flash,a gentle splash, your love is all but gone a fragile fawn thrown on the lawn this sacrafial dawn where children cry and parents lie and endless evenings die.In trembled fears and brutal years this little girl continues to ask WHY?But now this girl has grown to be this women that you see A honey bee,a withered tree,a lonely desperate plea she found a light she'll burn it bright and one day they will see this little girl will swirl and twirl and happiness she'll be. Hey Ann,thank you for reading my poem, and saying such sweet things about it.I have another you might injoy.... I cry salty tears, and you dont hear me.My pain falls to the ground. The world seems to fall on me.Like a child crying in the rain, devestation, greed, this world runs on it.Every one wants to hold on to what ever little bit they have not knowing that there are people who have nothing crying endless tears that fall to nothing.perhaps happiness once lived in your heart, perhaps you you once laught so hard that your stomach hurt.perhaps you will laugh again.Maybe your crying will stop.

write back asap dana

Gosh, I'm not sure which of the two poems I like better - the second reached inside and grabbed me, so probably that one!

Thanks for stopping by Words that Flow - I was honoured and warmed by your comment!
